The Love Dare – Week 4. Faithfulness, Protect, Love vs Lust, Forgiveness, Responsibility, Encouragement and Sacrifices
After completing the fourth week of the Love Dare, I will say out of all the challenges – humbling and forgiving have never been one of my best qualities. It’s easy to know you’re wrong, but admitting it is another thing; accepting someone’s apology is easy, but truly forgiving is another. But I’m working on it. And with lots of prayer and God’s guidance, I know these negative qualities are something I can overcome.
So here is a recap of this past weeks challenges:
- Love is faithful – tell your spouse you will never stop loving them no matter what they do
- Love always protects – remove all influences that are stealing your heart away from your spouse
- Love vs lust – let go of all obsessions and turn your love to God and your spouse
- Love forgives – whatever you haven’t forgiven your mate for, do it today
- Love is responsible – humble yourself and admit your wrongdoings to your spouse
- Love encourages – praise your spouse and tell them you love them
- Love makes sacrifices – do something to help your spouse
