The Love Dare – Week 3. Learning how to listen, be respectful, pray, and asked God to give me grace and fill my heart.
So I’ve completed the third week of the Love Dare and I must say I’m learning a lot about myself, learning more of my spouse, and realizing how much I really need God in my life. He has blessed my family, has blessed us with success, and has helped keep my marriage together for all these years. But I also realize that I still need more … more of Him. God is the true rock of my life and I owe it all to Him.
Here’s a recap of The Love Dare – Week 3 challenges:
I’ve learned to listen more attentively and respectfully
I’ve been praying for my spouse
I’ve talked with my spouse about “secrets”
I’ve been talking more with my spouse in general
I’ve asked God to give me the grace to seek Him, find Him and walk with Him
I’ve asked God to change my heart and fill me with His love
I’ve become more intentional and have made time to pray and read my bible
And now, onward to day 22 of the Love Dare. Hope you’re keeping up with me 🙂 Peace
