Spicy Tagliatelle Primavera Recipe
30 Minute Meal – Delicious Spring Pasta Primavera Dish
Spicy Tagliatelle Primavera Recipe. It’s only June and dang it’s already hot outside. I personally don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen making dinner, especially after being outside in the garden and working all day. So I’m always on the lookout for quick, yet delicious, meals.
This Tagliatelle Primavera Recipe caught my eye and did not disappoint !! Not only was it 30 minutes to make and serve, but I had most of the ingredients growing in the garden and ready to pick for this spring pasta primavera dish. BOOM – got my own grocery store right in the backyard !!
So I’ve already made this one a couple of times by either following the recipe verbatim, which keeps it to a vegan pasta primavera dish – and have also ad-libbed with other goodies in my fridge and garden. They were all super delicious, easy to make, AND ONLY took 30 Minutes !! My kind of meal. Enjoy !!

Serves 6 – each serving 437 Calories
INGREDIENTS
6 tbls Olive Oil
2 Red Onions, sliced thin
2 Yellow Peppers, halved and cut into 1/2″ cubes
1 Red Pepper, halved and cut into 1/2″ cubes
1 large Zucchini, cut into 1/2″ cubes
1 tbls Fresh Thyme, chopped
1/4″ tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Salt
1 lb Tagliatelle or Fettuccini Pasta
Grated Parmesan Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Then add the onions, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, thyme, and pepper flakes. Saute for at least 20 minutes. Stir occasionally and season with salt.
While veggies are cooking, cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salt water according to the time on the package. You’ll want the pasta al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
Add the vegetables to the pasta and cook over low heat for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring and tossing to allow the flavors to blend. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

Another variation is to use all the ingredients above (slice the peppers into strips, not chunks), and then also add the additional ingredients. And even with the added goodies, this dish can still be filed under the 30 Minute Meals list.
1/2 c Broccoli florets
1/2 c Spinach
1 Green Pepper, sliced in strips
1 c cooked Chicken Pieces
