Wow – this was a pretty hard question to answer as I have a few proud moments in my life. I don’t know if the birth of children count but I’m going to start with my children – first time was on October 20th, 1985, the second on September 23, 1992 and the third on July 18, 1996. Not only was giving birth to them one of my proudest moments, but I will also add that my greatest accomplishment is how they’ve all grown to be highly respectful, well mannered, very intelligent, well achieved, and just overall NICE INDIVIDUALS. As a mother who was afforded the opportunity to care for them 24/7 and watched them grow into the individuals they are today, I can wholeheartedly say I AM JUST SO VERY PROUD OF ALL THREE OF THEM
Children aside, another one of my proudest accomplishment was when I got my Home Health Care License. After being a stay at home for 30+ years, caring for my husband and our three children, I decided that since the kids moved on and away – it was time for me to take care of ME (which sounds pretty paradoxical since getting my license I’m now caring for others again). But still – after not picking up a school book for 45 plus years, going through the courses, having to complete hours upon hours of reading texts, and actually having to pass physical and written tests – I DID IT.
AND THAT TO ME WAS SUCH A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT.
