Rudolph’s Red Nose Martini – Holiday Cheer From Oahu, HI

Spread the holiday cheer from OAHU, HI and warm your toes and nose this holiday season with a festive Rudolph’s Red Nose Martini, one of the wintertime drinks from the Kahala Hotel and Resort.  Absolutely perfect for a cold winter night

INGREDIENTS

• 1 tbs simple syrup *
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 2 1/2 tbs vodka
• 2 tbs Apple Pucker Liqueur
• 2 tbs lemon juice
• 2 tbs lychee juice
• ice
• maraschino cherry

DIRECTIONS

On a plate combine syrup and cinnamon until well blended, then dip the rim of a martini glass into the mixture.  Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add vodka, liqueur, lemon juice and lychee juice.  Cover and shake vigorously.  Strain into the martini glass.  Garnish with cherry

* FOR SYRUP

Bring equal parts sugar and water to a boil, stir until sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat and cool
