Green Smoothie for Sore Throats. If you’re still struggling with the cold and flu, more specifically – a sore throat, then I’ve got a great smoothie recipe for you. It feels great sliding down the back of your throat, soothing it along the way, PLUS it’s loaded with all the ingredients necessary to boost your immune system. You’re getting a twofer right here.

The ingredients are filled with vitamins and nutrients your body needs right now. Check it –

SPINACH, BANANA, BLUEBERRIES, PINEAPPLE, ORANGES, APPLE, AND REISHI

Spinach – contains Vitamin C which is a powerful nutrient that can help reduce symptoms of sickness; plus it’s packed with numerous antioxidants and beta carotene
Banana – are soft, nutritious fruits that are easy to swallow and gentle on your throat. They also contain Vitamin C to help your body fight infections
Blueberries – contain flavonoids, a type of antioxidant that can help boost your immune system; are loaded with vitamins C and A, potassium, dietary fiber, and manganese. They are believed to have one of the highest antioxidant levels of all common fruits

Green Smoothie for Sore Throats

Ingredients
2 c chopped Spinach
1 Banana
½ c Blueberries
½ c Pineapple
½ Orange
½ Apple, no core
1 c Orange Juice
1 tbls Reishi Powder
½ c Ice

Instructions
Place all ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth. For a thicker consistency, add ice and blend again.
