Energy Booster Smoothie – Green Blast. This Green Blast Energy Booster Smoothie of the day turned out to be quite the awesome lunchtime treat, one that also gave me that much needed boost of energy. Sweet and satiating is a given, but check out the vitamin list. Its got your B’s, your C’s and your K’s, all of which are essential for your health.
The banana and kiwi alone have got your body’s main systems covered – your respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous, and digestive. The orange carries vitamin C, which is an important antioxidant that also helps to decrease bad cholesterol levels and improve blood pressure. And the kale is packed with fiber and sulfur, which aids with digestion and liver health.

GREEN BLAST SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS
1 ripe mango
1 banana
1 kiwi
1 orange
1 handful of kale
1 scoop protein powder (I used Visalus)
1 cup coconut water
ice cubes which are optional, but I like mine thick and smooth
Peel all fruits and wash leafy greens; then add to your blender. Dump in the protein powder and then add coconut water.
Blend until all ingredients are mixed and then add the ice to the consistency that you like. And then VIOLA !! Super scrumptious
