DIY Green Tea Facial Scrub
makes one application
Ingredients
1 Green Tea Bag
3/4 c Boiling Water
2 tbls Sugar
1 tsp Honey
Instructions
Steep the tea bag in boiling water for 5 minutes, remove the bag and let the tea cool.
Meanwhile in a separate bowl, add 1 tbls sugar and 1 tbls tea, and thoroughly mix together. Add the other tbls of sugar and mix again. Then add the honey and thoroughly mix. You now have enough scrub for one application.
TIP: DON’T WASTE THE TEA. Either drink up the remainder of the cup and enjoy the taste, because as it was mentioned above – Green Tea also Rejuvenates and Fights Premature Aging. Or you can use the remaining tea and make enough scrub for a week. Instead of using a 2:1 ratio of sugar to tea, only use a 1:1 ratio of sugar to tea. And of course 1 tbls of honey per 1 tbls of tea. Watch the thickness as you may not need a 1:1 ratio of honey to tea – use your own judgement. Place the scrub in an air tight container and store in the fridge where it will keep for a week.
