Immunity Boosting Citrus Smoothie
Now you might be thinking ewww – Reishi Mushrooms in a smoothie? I was like that at first, but seriously, you can’t taste it at all. And when you see just how good you feel after taking the powder for a few days, you’ll never want to be without it again.
SMOOTHIE INGREDIENT BENEFITS
Oranges – are a vitamin C rich fruit that helps boost your immune system and help prevent the onset of colds and flu and helps speed up recovery if you catch it
Pineapple – is the ultimate natural flu fighter as it contains the anti-inflammatory enzyme bromelain which helps boost your immune system and fight against colds and flu in winter
Beets – are high in immune boosting Vitamin C and in betalains that have been shown to reduce inflammation and protect against oxidative stress; beets are rich in folate (Vitamin B9) which helps cells grow and function; and they also contain Zinc, Iron, Antioxidants, Fiber, Potassium

Citrus Cold Recovery

Ingredients
1 c Coconut Water
2 Oranges, peeled
2 c Pineapple, chopped
¼ c Beets, peeled and cubed
2 c green Cabbage
Juice of ½ lemon
2 tblp Flaxseed oil
1 tbls Reishi Powder
Ice / optional
Instructions
Place all ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth. For a thicker consistency, add ice and blend again. If you’re not using a high speed blender, steam the beets and cabbage first, but for no longer than 10 minutes. Then add them to your smoothie ingredients and blend.
