Here’s where this weight loss smoothie comes in. Simply blend up all the ingredients listed in the recipe and you’ve got yourself one nutritious drink that will help keep you full and maintain your energy level until your next meal.

INGREDIENT BENEFITS

Almond Butter – packed with protein, fibre and good fats, as well as vitamin E, magnesium and potassium. Has the same benefits to shed excess weight as raw almonds
Spinach – low-calorie, an excellent source of vitamins and minerals including folate, iron, riboflavin, vitamin B6, calcium and magnesium
Almond Milk – is rich in calcium, potassium, vitamin E and vitamin D among others. All these nutrients are helpful in weight loss as they keep the metabolism fast, aid digestion and keep problems like bloating away
Bananas – are healthy and nutritious, high in fiber and low in calories, reduce bloating, control your appetite and help in weight loss
Pineapple – contains an enzyme called bromelain. This enzyme is found in the juice of pineapple and helps in metabolising protein, which in turn helps burn away the excess belly fat
Chia Seeds – rich in protein which helps in reducing appetite and food intake. The protein content in these healthy seeds promotes growth and development, building muscle mass, and thereby reducing your body fat in many ways
Flaxseed – rich in proteins, low in starch and sugar, low in calories. Help suppress your appetite
