As you may have guessed – I am a foodie and love everything about food. I grow my own fruits and vegetables and herbs, experiment and make recipes, blend into beverages, can and preserve, support holistic remedies, and much more. But there’s a whole other world out there besides consuming produce.

There’s SKIN CARE – making your own all natural personal care products. From lotions, creams, bathing accessories and more – the ingredients can be grown and made into usable products.

There’s CLOTHING – cotton, flax, jute and hemp are all fibers grown and used to make clothes. And while you may not be able to grow the fibers yourself, you can purchase these fibers and create your own clothing from them. Know of any spinners? I do and they’re an amazing group of women. They use the “spinning process” where raw cotton, ramie, alpaca, angora and mohair fibers are turned into thread – and then the “weaving process,” where the thread is woven into fabric.

There’s MEDICINAL PRODUCTS – ranging from tonics, to mushrooms, to CBD oils and rubs.  You don’t have to be a herbalist to know that everything that’s grown in the soil, whether it be planted or a weed, has a health serving benefit for your well being.

There’s so much you can do with the things that are grown – and this is where I’m going to highlight everything I love and am passionate about.  So enjoy and check back often – CIAO 🙂

I’m also big on the belief that good health starts from the inside out and taking care of your body as you age.  Being a woman over the age of 50, I know HEALTH, WELLNESS, AND FITNESS are an important part of our lives at this age.  So there’s also a section for us women over age 50, who want to live a healthier and happier lifestyle.  I feature diets that you can actually eat good foods and not starve yourself, and workouts for beginners and over age 50.  Please check them out at the links below.
