MAITAKE MUSHROOMS

Maitake mushrooms contain beta-1,6 glucan which stimulates the immune system. They contain cell structures that are classified as host defenses potentiators. They’re used as cancer treatments throughout Asia. They counteract the toxic effects of radiation and chemotherapy such as fatigue and nausea. The maitake extract is also known to shrink tumors in mice.

 

 

 

 

SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS

It doesn’t usually work directly against cancer, but it is believed to help prevent some of the damage that results from anticancer drugs. They contain beta-glucan which tricks the immune system cells into thinking they’re under attack, and the immune systems is stimulated by them. Beta-glucans wide range of effects are resistance to infection, liver protection, and cardiovascular benefits. It has also inhibited tumor growth in mice.

They also contain eritadenine, which has shown to lower blood cholesterol by as much as 45%

 

REISHI MUSHROOMS

Reishi mushrooms are known to reduce side effects during chemotherapy while improving the quality of life. Contains ganodermic acids called triterpenoids, and polysacchardes – which benefit everything from blood pressure to liver detoxification to adrenal function.

These mushrooms stimulate the immune system, increases antioxidant capacity and enhances the immune responses in advance stage cancer patients.

It is also a stress buster. They have a high level of antioxidants, due to the ganodermic acid.

 

CREMINI MUSHROOMS (white buttom mushrooms)

One 5 oz serving gives you more than 50% of daily value for cancer fighting trace mineral selenium, 40% of dv of riboflavin, 35% copper, 30% of niacin, 20-25% of pantothenic acid, phosphorus, zink, and 10-15% dv of manganese and thiamin. Theres also traces of magnesium, calcium, folate, B-12, and iron.

They’re also used for weight loss!! Mushrooms in general contain antioxidants called l-ergothioneine, which neutralizes dangerous free radicals called hydroxyl radicals and also increases enzymes with antioxidant activity.
