Spring Ahead Today – Change Your Clocks and Change Your Batteries
Change Your Clock – Change Your Batteries in Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Spring Ahead Today – Change The Clocks. I don’t know about you all but I was kind of liking waking up at 4:30am and seeing daylight peeking above the mountains. Guess I’ll have to wait another month before this starts happening again as today we do our semi-annual daylight savings time clock adjustments.
Confused as to whether the clocks increase or decrease an hour? All you have to remember is SPRING AHEAD (up an hour in the spring) and FALL BEHIND (back an hour in the fall). You’ll never be late or early again – unless of course you simply forget to change your clocks.
I saw this cute meme this morning which pretty much summed up today’s technology when it comes to our clocks. Funny thing about this – I just changed the clock in my truck a couple weeks ago, because I was tired of having the wrong time appear. Probably should have just left it alone as I’ll now have to change it back again 🤣
CHANGE YOUR SMOKE AND CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR BATTERIES
All joking aside, don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), recommends changing the batteries in your smoke alarm every 6 months. So don’t wait until your detector starts beeping – just change the batteries. It’s always better to be safe than sorry
