For those who love seaweed and want something other than sushi – make yourself the Korean Rolled Omelette With Nori Seaweed for breakfast. Delicious and different, but a breakfast that even my hubs loved. And speaking of the hubs – I also served this Korean Omelette with the Cheese Nori Scones. Man, was he in heaven – you’re welcome honey. Try them both – they’re delicious and super easy to make. Enjoy 🙂
KOREAN OMELETTE WITH NORI SEAWEED
Ingredients
½ Teaspoon Butter
3 Eggs
splash of milk
2 Pinches Salt, or to taste
2 slices of pepper jack cheese
1 Roasted Nori Seaweed
Optional goodies: chopped scallions, fresh chopped parsley, mushrooms – anything else you like in an omelette
Directions:
Beat eggs with whisk or fork, add the milk to fluff, then a few punches of salt
In a lightly buttered saute pan, pour egg mixture and heat slowly over low heat. Heat slowly for a few minutes until almost cooked through, add the cheese and the seaweed sheet on top. Now’s the time to add any of your additional goodies.
Using a spatula, lift one end of the egg and fold a few inches inside & over seaweed and other goodies you may have added. Let cook a few seconds and continue rolling until completely rolled.
Let omelette rest for a few minutes to cool, then slice into 1 inch pieces and serve.
Viola – breakfast is ready !!
