National Dress Up Your Pet Day – January 14

This fun “howl-iday”  was created in 2009 by Colleen Paige,  with the goal of raising pet adoption awareness.   And by making it fun for pet owners and their furry companions, it has became such a great way to get more people involved.  Colleen Paige also started the National Dog Day and National Cat Day holiday, with the “underlying goal to help save lives and give homeless animals as much exposure as possible.”

So let’s have a little fun with your pets today – and make your pet the best dressed in town.  Today is the perfect opportunity to break out the bejeweled collars, sassy sweaters, and fashion accessories. And don’t forget to give them a big hug for being such troopers
