COLD AND FLU BUSTER GREEN SMOOTHIE. I get it – when you’re sick you just don’t have an appetite to eat. Or maybe you can’t eat because your throat is killing you. But this is the worse time to NOT fill your body will vitamins and nutrients as your body needs everything you can throw at it to fight off the infection that’s keeping you sick.

makes two 8oz glasses

INGREDIENTS
1 C cold water
2 Celery stalks
1 handful Spinach
Fresh Parsley and Cilantro, to taste
1 Garlic clove
½ Lemon
1 tsp Honey
½ Avocado
Ice

INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients, minus ice, in your blender and give it a good whirl. Add add ice for a thicker consistency.
